I recently had the privilege of attending a professional portrait workshop in Chicago (September 2025). Here are a few of my favorite captures from the day—each one a study in light, shadow, and personality.

A themed photoshoot exploring the classic glamour and cinematic style of Old Hollywood. The focus was on creating dramatic, timeless portraits with a nostalgic feel.

Transporting subjects to a storybook setting, this set of photos captures the soft, folklore-inspired aesthetic of the Cottage Core theme. Shot at the beautiful Riverview Farmstead, these portraits focus on dreamy posing and the subtle color palettes achievable during the late evening light, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality, conceptual imagery.
