Post-Production: Foundational raw processing, significant retouching, distracting foreground elements (twigs/branches) were removed using generative AI, and selective masking to enhance shadow detail and dimension on the subject.
A female Red-winged Blackbird, originally a JPEG, underwent some refinement. Initial foundational adjustments made in Lightroom Classic, followed by targeted Photoshop, including lifting shadows in the bird, boosting orange tones around its eye and beak, and darkening the perch for greater subject isolation.
